Janaboli/Feb 24, Kathmandu. The Unified CPN (Maoist) has urged the government to resolve the problem recently seen in Bara district. Locals of district headquarters Kalaiya and Simara were divided over the issue of extending the service centre and not extending it.

The party spokesperson Dinanatha Sharma today, issued a press release and urged the government to manage at least one service centre in each constituency in the district.

Locals are found agitated for nine days with the decision of extending the service centre from district headquarters Kaliaya to Simara.

The protest has developed in a new dimension as the locals of Kalaiya protested the government decision of extending the service centre at Simara.

With the protest of locals, the government adjourned the decision of extending the service centre then the locals of Simara are protesting by demanding for setting up the centre there.

The party further has objected the government’s step of mobilizing the security personnel to torture the locals rather resolving the real problem.

The press release reads that the party has a support for the locals’ protests.
