Kathmandu, April 29: An observation tower has been set up at Syarpur lake of Banphikot in Rukum with an aim to boost tourism in the area.
Nepal Army's Devidal Battalion constructed the tower for a full 360 degree range of vision of the lake with the support of local residents and District Development Committee (DDC).
The tower was constructed at an investment of around Rs 500,000 with an aim to facilitate the foreign and domestic tourists to view the lake.
Tourism in and around the Syarpu lake has been gaining momentum with a surge in the arrival of tourists. RSS
